What we build
Decks of every size, from a small platform outside a kitchen door to a raised deck over a steep garden, plus the steps, balustrades and lighting that go with them. We also replace decks that have gone soft or slippery. Thinking hard about one kind of job means we pay attention to which boards cope with shade, how posts are set in clay and how steps should feel underfoot.

The way we work
It starts with a visit. We measure, take levels from your back door, look at the ground and talk about how you'd like to use the garden: dining, sitting in the evening sun, somewhere for the children. Then we give you a quote.
When the job goes ahead, we protect the house and garden, keep the site tidy, and tell you what's happening each day. When the deck is finished, we show you how to look after it.
Why sloping gardens get extra thought
Plenty of Middlesbrough gardens fall away from the house, especially towards the south of the town. They're harder to build on, and they're where careful design makes the biggest difference. Our sloping gardens guide explains how we approach them, and our area pages describe the ground and planning rules suburb by suburb.
